Nos encontramos en este post por algo en particular, el conocimiento y las ideas. Te invitamos a conocer o recordar algunas de las palabras pronunciadas por el ex presidente argentino Juan Domingo Perón, que incluyen una mirada particular del pueblo trabajador, en el contexto del 17 de octubre. En 1945 una multitud pedían por su líder, previamente detenido por razones políticas; se trata de una persona que constituiría un movimiento político y social que llega hasta nuestros días.
Una breve crónica de los hechos que desembocaron en el 17 de octubre de 1945, recorriendo los hechos para mayor entendimiento:
El Presidente Ramón Antonio Castillo había sido derrocado, y por entonces el gobierno estaba encabezado por los generales Arturo Rawson, Pedro Pablo Ramírez y Edelmiro Farrell.
Luego de enfrentamientos con la cúpula militar, Perón es forzado a renunciar a sus cargos.
El 9 de octubre de 1945 cumple con la orden y un día después da un discurso desde la Secretaría de Trabajo, en el que resaltó distintas reivindicaciones laborales.
El Gobierno militar dio la orden de detenerlo.
El 11 de octubre, Perón junto a Eva, se fueron con la intención de instalarse en una isla del Delta. Dos días más tarde, Perón fue detenido y llevado a la isla Martín García.
Se produjo una huelga general para exigir su libertad, y fue trasladado al Hospital Militar, el 17 de octubre.
La huelga y la presión de los trabajadores hizo que el gobierno de facto cediera y le diera la posibilidad a Perón de hablar a la multitud que había colmado la Plaza de Mayo y no se movía pidiendo por él.
A las 23.10, Perón salió a un balcón de la Casa Rosada y se dirigió al pueblo, con un fuerte contenido social, hizo un pedido de paz para que los trabajadores volvieran tranquilos a sus hogares.
